I had an issue with the Veterans Administration. They cut of my medical supplies for in home medicine treatment and wanted me to travel 65 miles to West Los Angeles or 91 miles to Bakersfield 3 times a month. At this time in my life, I didn’t own an automobile and was relying on a relative to take me. I went through all the procedures to protest getting my supplies back. The V.A. had no response in a timely matter. I met Representative Whitesides at a veteran’s event and was given a contact in his office. His caseworker was very welcoming and understanding of my predicament and fixed the problem. I am now receiving my supplies due to her hard work and dedication.

I really appreciate Representative George Whitesides’ office assisting with navigating my case through the federal agency, IRS. The IRS owed me a substantial refund.  I complied with all requests and my taxes were filed without errors.  However,  after 4 months of filing, I still had not had not received my refund. I reached out to Representative George Whitesides office, and was assigned Caseworker Simone Pierce, who was informative and attentive.  After submitting required documents to support my case, he reached out the IRS. In 3 weeks, my refund was direct deposited with interest to my bank account.

I had an issue with my Medicare and had been dealing with the Social Security Administration for many months trying to resolve the problem, but had no success. My insurance company was about to drop my coverage and my eye treatments would have been canceled, so I made a quick visit to Congressman Whitesides’ Office in Valencia to seek help. It was amazing that within 3 weeks, my case was resolved.

Without the Medicare Part B, there would be no medical coverage for my eye treatments and it could have been a catastrophe for me. I’m so grateful to Rep. Whitesides’ caseworkers for their swift and effective support. Thank you so much! You’re so amazing!

I had an issue with my passport and I needed to travel outside the country to visit my sick mother. I contacted Congressman Whitesides’ office to see if they can help. I called them in the morning and gathered all the information they needed. The same day they contacted me again with a solution for my passport issue, and I was able to travel the next day. I know this would not have happened without the direct help from the representative’s office.

Our mailbox was damaged by a postal carrier truck during delivery.  We were unable to get in touch with our local postal annex.  We reached out to Congressman Whitesides’ office because they had helped us when we were having mail delivery issues.  They were able to contact the local postmaster and supervisor who came to look at the damage and security video we had of the incident.  We received a brand-new mailbox within a week.
